The Textbook & Bookroom Management program can be used and synchronized with OPALS’ library automation program. It can also be used apart from the library module where textbook management is done outside the library.
Use this module to record basic textbook data which can then be used to search for and manage circulation of those textbooks. The program enables you to create tables of courses which can be linked to textbook titles to easily identify textbooks available for those courses. In addition, the courses can be linked to teachers to create and print lists of textbook resources available for each course’s teachers.
The textbook management module includes data entry utilities, circulation management, textbook loan history, overdue management, fine management, reports and more. For those having textbook data in spreadsheet format, or MARC records, the textbook module includes CSV data and MARC record import utilities.
